General Terms and Conditions for the Stay
Article 1 – Definitions
1.1 Accommodation: The lodging offered by the owner or manager, including all facilities.
1.2 Guest: The natural or legal person who makes a reservation or uses the accommodation.
1.3 Reservation: The booking of a stay by the guest, confirmed by the accommodation.
1.4 Accommodation Price: The amount payable by the guest for the stay, unless explicitly stated otherwise, excluding additional costs.
Article 2 – Reservation and Confirmation
2.1 A reservation becomes final once it has been confirmed in writing or by email by the accommodation.
2.2 The guest is obliged to pay a deposit of thirty percent (30%) of the total price within seven (7) days of making the reservation.
2.3 If the deposit is not paid within the specified period, the reservation will be automatically canceled without further notice.
2.4 The accommodation reserves the right to refuse reservations without providing reasons.
Article 3 – Payment
3.1 After the reservation, a deposit of thirty percent (30%) of the total price must be paid within seven (7) days.
3.2 The remaining balance is to be paid on-site (cash or card).
3.3 Payments must be made in the agreed currency and via the payment methods specified by the accommodation.
Article 4 – Cancellation and Changes
4.1 Cancellation by the guest is free of charge if made at least thirty (30) days before the arrival date.
4.2 For cancellations within thirty (30) days before the arrival date, the guest is responsible for the full accommodation price.
4.3 Changes to the reservation are subject to availability and must be requested in writing. The accommodation may charge fees for changes.
4.4 The accommodation recommends that the guest take out suitable travel cancellation insurance.
Article 5 – Pets
5.1 Pets are not allowed unless explicitly agreed in writing.
5.2 In case of violation, the accommodation reserves the right to charge cleaning fees and/or compensation for damages.
Article 6 – Smoking
6.1 Smoking is prohibited throughout the accommodation unless explicitly indicated otherwise.
6.2 Violations may result in cleaning fees and/or fines.
Article 7 – Quiet Hours, Behavior, and Condition of the Accommodation
7.1 Guests must respect the quiet hours of other guests (22:00–07:00).
7.2 Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or other activities disturbing the peace may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
7.3 Guests must treat the accommodation and its inventory with care. Damages or losses will be charged to the guest.
7.4 Upon departure, the accommodation will be inspected. If it is not left clean and free of dirt, a cleaning fee of €150 may be charged.
7.5 All damages or thefts of inventory or property of the accommodation will be fully charged to the guest.
7.6 In cases of violence, theft, vandalism, or serious violations of house rules, the police will be notified, and criminal prosecution as well as additional costs may be imposed on the guest.
Article 8 – Liability
8.1 The accommodation is not liable for loss, theft, damage, or personal injury of guests, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct by the accommodation.
8.2 Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables.
8.3 The accommodation’s liability is limited to the amount covered by its liability insurance.
Article 9 – Force Majeure
9.1 In the event of force majeure, including natural disasters, fire, government actions, pandemics, or other extraordinary circumstances, the accommodation may cancel, change, or terminate the stay without being obliged to pay compensation.
Article 10 – Data Protection and Data Processing
10.1 The accommodation processes guests’ personal data solely for reservations, payments, and services in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.2 By making a reservation, the guest agrees to the processing of their personal data as described in the accommodation’s privacy policy.
Article 11 – Applicable Law and Disputes
11.1 These terms and any agreements are governed exclusively by Austrian law.
11.2 Disputes should, if possible, be resolved amicably.
11.3 If no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of the accommodation.
Article 12 – Acceptance of Terms
12.1 By making a reservation, the guest confirms that they have read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.
12.2 It is the guest’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the content of these terms.
